My Journey...

About me...

My name is Miriam Zylberglait, everybody calls me "Dr.Z"

I am originally for Peru. I went to medical school there and practiced medicine for almost 10 years. I came to the U.S in 2011, leaving my parents, my friends, and my job as an academic physician, to follow the love of my life.

In the U.S I had to start from zero. Learn a new language, and repeat my residency and fellowship. During these years, while being in my 40s, I rounded the hospital with my pregnant belly, twice. Best experience ever... I was never alone, my baby's kicks were the best reminder of why I needed to continue pursuing my dreams.

Now, I am lucky of having a supportive husband, parents, sister, friends, and two wonderful little boys that help me to find harmony between my personal and professional life.
